Tiffiny Butler Ph.D., ATC, is the associate vice chancellor for educational equity at Rutgers University – New Brunswick. She expands her passion for education by overseeing support programs designed to foster equity for first generation, low socio – economic, and historically excluded or marginalized student populations at Rutgers University – New Brunswick which includes federally funded TRIO programs. In addition, she also supports strategic planning as a part of the division for inclusion and community engagement and works to engage and support campus partners in the equity mindset in their work. Dr. Butler comes to Rutgers University from Worcester Polytechnic Institute where she served in a dual role as the Director of the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) and teaching professor in the department of biomedical engineering. She earned her graduate degrees from Temple University in kinesiology – athletic training and kinesiology – integrative exercise physiology, respectively.
