Ali Shaikh
Special Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Inclusion, & Community Engagement
Ali Shaikh serves as the Special Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Inclusion, & Community Engagement (DICE). He organizationally supports the day-to-day workflow of Interim Vice Chancellor Dr. Tiffiny Butler and facilitates the implementation of her strategic priorities. Additionally, he assists in the management of projects and aids units within the Division of DICE on behalf of the Vice Chancellor. Ali graduated from Rutgers University–New Brunswick and went on to work at the University of California, Los Angeles for over seven years in various student-facing roles. He obtained his M.Ed. in Higher Education and Organizational Change from the UCLA Graduate School of Education & Information Studies.
