Ali Shaikh serves as the Educational Equity Group (EEG) Strategic Initiatives Coordinator for the EEG unit within the Division of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement. He organizationally supports the day-to-day workflow of Acting Associate Vice Chancellor Jackasha Wiley and facilitates the implementation of her strategic priorities for EEG. Additionally, he assists in the management of projects and aids units within EEG including Thrive SSS and the McNair program. Ali graduated from Rutgers University–New Brunswick and went on to work at the University of California, Los Angeles for over seven years in various student-facing roles. He obtained his M.Ed. in Higher Education and Organizational Change from the UCLA Graduate School of Education & Information Studies.
