The Academy Bowl is an eagerly anticipated annual competition between different grade levels, fostering both academic and creative excellence among students. Highlights include the rising 9th graders competing in a challenging college vocabulary contest having to define words like FAFSA or waitlisted. This year Allison C. clinched 1st place. Additionally, 10th graders showcased their knowledge and research skills by creating detailed posters of real universities like UPenn Howard. Meanwhile, juniors unleashed their creativity by designing imaginative institutions like Shin University, a fictional STEM school. This event not only enhances academic skills but also promotes camaraderie and TRIO spirit.
