Paolo Miyashiro Bedoya (he/him/his) is in his second year of the Ed.M. in College Student Affairs program at the Graduate School of Education and serves as Graduate Program Coordinator for the Center for Social Justice Education & LGBT Communities. In this role, he participates in LGBTQIA+ affirming programming, social justice educational workshops, student staff supervision, and student organization advisement. He is passionate about supporting and uplifting students from historically excluded populations and is excited to continue exploring justice work with the Tyler Clementi Center.

Paolo was born in Japan and moved to New Jersey at a young age. His identity as a Latino-Asian, first-generation, undocumented student influences his research and advocacy efforts. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management and a Marketing minor from Ramapo College of New Jersey where he also gained work experience in Student Activities, Residence Life, and Admissions. In his free time, he loves to sing, scroll through TikTok, and try new foods with his friends.
