Faculty soul-saving socials and book cover

Join us for a relaxed environment where faculty peers from all racial and ethnic backgrounds and ranks engage one another in conversation about the themes raised in The Black Academic’s Guide to Winning Tenure—Without Losing Your Soul by Kerry Ann Rockquemore and Tracey Laszloffy.

There is no fixed reading schedule or commitment to attend all of our planned meetings. Whether you’ve read the entire book or haven’t yet begun, join us for a conversation about the Academy and shaping sustaining spaces within it.

Socials are typically held on the first Thursday of the month at 5 p.m. and the third Wednesday of the month at 12 p.m. Use our online form to select which date you want to attend our Zoom conversation:

  • Wednesday, March 17, 12 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 1, 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 21, 12 p.m.
  • Thursday, May 6, 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 19, 12 p.m.
